Our Process
Emphasizing the Significance of Process
The significance of process cannot be overstated; it plays a vital role in establishing prosperous partnerships. Building successful collaborations requires both transparency and a well-defined process. Allow me to present a comprehensive breakdown of my client and design process, ensuring absolute clarity regarding the activities and their respective timelines.
Initiating the Project Discussion
Prior to finalizing agreements and making any financial commitments, we engage in an initial kick-off call, which lasts approximately 30 minutes. During this call, we outline the complete project scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and other essential details. It is customary for all parties involved to verbally agree upon these aspects during the call.
Formalizing the Agreement
Following our discussion, I will provide you with a comprehensive scope of work document that outlines the agreed-upon deliverables and the corresponding quote. This document will require your signature as a confirmation of acceptance. Once the scope of work is approved, the contract, briefing template, and invoices for a 60% deposit will be shared with you. It is essential that these documents are signed, the deposit is paid, and any necessary information is filled out before we can proceed further.
Embarking on the Design Journey
Upon receiving the signed contract, the 60% deposit, and the completed brief along with the accompanying moodboard, I will commence with my design process. I will meticulously progress through each stage outlined below, aiming to arrive at a primary direction that I believe aligns most effectively with the given brief.
The Design Reveal
After approximately a week since receiving all the necessary materials from you, I am prepared to present my work. During this presentation, I will guide you through every phase of my design process, providing insightful explanations behind each decision made. The ultimate objective is to arrive at a single, cohesive design. Additionally, I will share the presentation deck with you, enabling you to refer back to it while consolidating feedback.
Finalizing or Providing Feedback
Allowing the presented information to settle and assimilate is crucial before offering consolidated feedback, albeit it can be challenging. It is advisable to take at least a day or two to process the materials thoroughly. Depending on the extent of revisions needed, I will either make minor adjustments and communicate them via email, or, if significant changes and further explanation are required, I will schedule another presentation to discuss and present the revised work.
Project Completion and Handover
Once you have provided your approval and signed off on the design, I will proceed to share the final invoice. Upon payment of the invoice, I will diligently compile and deliver all the files and exports in a meticulously organized folder system for your immediate use. To ensure your satisfaction and success, I maintain a practice of following up with my clients a couple of months after project completion. Please keep an eye out for my check-in message as I am genuinely interested in hearing about your progress.
